Brooke took her first Bikram Yoga class in 2011 after she moved from Chicago to New York City. Years of athletic training as a runner and dancer, as well as the stress of working as a CPA, had taken many tolls on her body. For Brooke, Bikram Yoga was not love at first class, but something kept bringing her back in the room.

After some time, she had begun to heal her injuries, but more importantly, she started to see the mental benefits of the practice. She was happier, stronger, and more equipped to handle the stress of her difficult job.

 Over time, her love of Bikram yoga proved too strong to deny, and she made the decision to leave the corporate world behind in order to continue improving herself, and pay it forward to teach others the yoga that changed her life. Brooke went to Bikram Yoga teacher training in Spring 2017 and is loving teaching her passion to the students of Bikram Yoga Astoria.
